What happens when the Family Court has made its decision?

You will have explained to you the decision of the Court and how it will affect you.

Just who explains it to you depends on your particular case. Sometimes it might be a Court Counsellor who talks with you, sometimes it might be the lawyer (child's representative). Sometimes it may be one of your parents who explains to you the decisions of the Court.

The important thing is to remember, it will be explained to you. If you are unhappy later with the way things are working out, you should ring the lawyer (child's representative) or talk to another adult about it.
