STATEMENT BY THE FAMILY LAW COURTS - 6 September 2011
Reports that have been widely published this morning stating that a man has strapped a bomb to himself at the Family Court in Parramatta need to be corrected.
The incident did not occur at the Family Court or Federal Magistrates Court premises in Parramatta. Based on information provided by the police, a check of the Courts records indicates that this man has not had proceedings in either of these courts.
