User Guide to eFiling Divorce Applications in family law (Family Law Courts)
This user guide is to assist people who wish to file an Application for Divorce electronically via the Commonwealth Courts Portal which is located at www.comcourts.gov.au.
This information describes the process for electronically submitting an application (eFiling) with the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia, pursuant to Rules 2.07A and 2.07B Federal Magistrates Court Rules 2001 (see Notice to Practitioners and litigants:filing of supplementary documents and divorce application by electronic communication). It does not include the subsequent legal process involved in the hearing and granting of a divorce.
